I love weddings, I love every single detail. From the moment the bride walks in and all eyes are on her to the inevitable moment I join in on the electric slide. I'm not much of a crier, so no waterworks, but my heart is so full when I see people in love get married (cheesy, I know). I heard this in a movie somewhere; that when the bride walks in, you should look at the groom's face and in that moment you will see how deeply in love he is. Something like that. I paraphrased. Anywhoo, I did not do that. I was late. When I walked in they were at the altar already, just before the father handed the bride over to the groom. I kept looking at their faces to catch expressions (yeah, I'm that weird guest). I caught quiet a few stolen glances full of love. It was beautiful and the level of emotion that filled the air during the father/daughter dance was just amazing. The groom probably had half of the woman almost crying their eyes out when he started crying and some of the men I would assume. It was beautiful.
The reception area was gorgeous. I should have taken pictures but I was so caught up in the festivities. I did, yes, manage to pose for a picture.
The real wedding begins after the wedding though and I pray that God will bless their marriage and sanctify it. I also pray that their life together will be filled with great joy and that they may fulfill the will that God has for their lives together.
Next wedding is in two weeks :-). I love Summer.
